Snow! In San Antonio!

This morning we woke up to a dusting of snow. It was the first time Kelly had seen snow in person.

The world is her canvas…

When we told Kelly there might not be much snow to make a snowman, she said, “that’s o.k., we can make a small one.”

It wasn’t a lot, and it didn’t last long, but Kelly enjoyed her first snow day.

Happy New Year!

If you're reading this, thanks for checking back in...everything's good. We've been too busy to blog, lots going on. (Too much to relate here, but if you're curious, give us a call.)

DaDa is going to attempt to do some retroblogging for the record. Kelly is well versed in looking through the photos on the computer, but hopefully, the blog will give more context to some of those images of her growing up.

Santa - lapless again

So, this year Kelly wanted to, but she just couldn't muster up what it takes to actually sit on Santa's lap. The whole beard thing has always put her off....and this is the best we got this year.

Summer Recap, Part 1

Wow, halfway through September already! It was a very busy summer.

We got to go see Tops In Blue…

 
It was a longs show for Kelly, but she liked it.

Much time was spent wet this summer…

 

Kelly decided the arm rest made a good canvas.

Kelly spent time with cousins and Grandma.

Fun times at Grandma’s house…

For almost all of the Summer, and part of the Fall, we spent three evenings a week at the Natatorium.

Another group activity was the making and eating of healthy and refreshing popsicles.
 
Three generations, four Moms, one Great Grandmother, one Grandmother, and a bunch of happy kids.


Ollie’s birthday party included a really tall cake…

that was very colorful on the inside. Kelly ate the entire piece on the right.

Staying busy at a family reunion. It was too hot to let the kids play on the playground.

We all helped on a big project at Grandma’s house.

Big Hair

Kelly loves her big hair. She fixed it just the way she wanted it.
